they did ? didnt notice. how did the mississippi hillbillies do this year ? or poup, how did the oregon trailers do ? didnt see them this year much. besides i have my stanley cup thats all that matters to me. like i just told mrs cap who is upset, tomorrow you get up at 5am take the kids to school and continue your day. i get up and drive to kansas city to earn a living, brady will get on a private jet fly to his 20 million dollar mansion, and have his model wife dress him. trust me when i tell you, when my teams win i love it, when they don't i much dont give a fuck, because in the end what does it matter ? i still have to work for a living and they will play golf. im just not that invested in it gentlemen

oh and just for the record,in the last decade i have seen.3 super bowl victories, 2 world series victories, an nba title and my 39 year wait for a stanley cup come too an end. the city of boston has had a championship run like no other city in history or state or region for that matter. i'll sleep fine but i will admit, i will avoid sports talk radio on xm for at least 2 weeks

ya jls college football is a southern, midwest, states with not much else to do kinda thing. im sure its because the teams are better. only time i ever remember anybody caring about college football in boston was when doug flutie was at bc. college hockey is much bigger. i remember when i first moved to florida, and im flipping channels on friday night . couldnt believe my eyes when i saw high school football on tv

It's amazing just how popular the SEC is. Tiger Stadium holds 90,000 I think and there's another 150,000 tailgating.

I think part of the popularity is a lot of people know a player or two on the team. Hometown boys.

Not to mention the games are pretty good.

must admit, high school was pretty cool, didnt think i'd like it but me did. when i was younger i use too live and die with boston sports teams(mostly die) thank you larry bird my only saving grace. now that im older i realize it's just a game. win or lose it has no impact on my life. my passion is hockey, i played for years i love it. when the bruins won the cup last year i looked at mrs cap and said "i can die happy now" i still very much enjoy most sports but it is no longer a way of life and im much happier for it. for the record i thought the saints where the best team this year, but the best doesnt always win
