Its only been a model for democracy for over 200 years, why not use something more recent with some real pizzazz like the EU constitution which I think runs about 2,000 plus pages in lenght and yet nowhere in that 2,000 plus pages can you find the pretty much absolute right to free speech that we have here today. |

Wow. Just wow.
In 225 years, there have been a total of 27 Amendments to the US Constitution.
She's trying to sell them on South Africa? The same constitution that's had 16 Amendments to it since it was enacted in 1997?
(15 years, 16 Amendments),.... Good luck with that. |

As a liberal, she no doubt is saying this because she feels the right of the liberal elite to run roughshod over the rights of the peasants cannot and should not be restrained by a mere scrap of paper...but she actually has a point in this case. Do you really think a bunch of Third World hajis could actually institute a working government based on our Constitution? They actually want to live in a Third World religious dictatorship and are already in the process of voting one in. |

Notice the only black face in the picture? Hopefully the next picture has all the same faces, but involves a rope and a tree and obama hanging from it.

The US constitution is only for civilized people who yearn for freedom.
That's why it wont work in Europe and the Arab world. |

FYI far less than 1% of the English know a damn thing about the US constitution except that it is used to prevent justice being done (not answering legal questions).
The rest of it is as useless as the UK "Bill of Rights" called the Magna Carta; which is also trampled on daily by the `Authorities`.
Democracy is a smoklescreen to placate the public. |

Justice?
Egypt?
The most prominent targets of the Egyptian investigation are two American-financed groups with close ties to the Congressional leadership, the National Democratic Institute and the International Republican Institute, which are chartered to promote democracy abroad with nonpartisan training and election monitoring.
News reports Sunday said among those referred to a criminal trial was Sam LaHood, director of the Republican Institutefs operations in Egypt and the son of Ray LaHood, the Secretary of Transportation and a former Republican Congressman from Illinois.
The investigation has been accompanied by a drumbeat of anti-American rhetoric from the Egyptfs military-led government suggesting that Washington has been paying to stir unrest in the Egyptian streets. Citing unnamed sources, some state media have even suggested foreign-financed groups were handing cash to illiterate laborers to persuade them to join protests.

This is what we're up against folks.
Although I'm never one to chime in on them - if there ever was an appropriate time for an anti joooo thread on ff I would think this is it. |

Makes me wonder, sometimes a school teacher or some minor official posts something inappropriate somewhere and they get fired/sued, but Ginsburg has sex with a horse and wipes her cunt on the Constitution and there is no backlash. |
