65-year-old cyclist assaulted, shoots two in self defense.
A 65-year-old man riding his bicycle on Thun Trail, Pennsylvania, was knocked off his bike and assaulted.
According to police, the three teenagers were beating the man and attempting to rob him when the victim pulled out a gun and shot two of them. One teen, 16, died, and another 16-year-old was taken to the hospital. The third teen, 15, was arrested and questioned.
The incident took place near a bridge that crosses the Schuylkill River near Cumru Township between Reading and West Reading. The would-be victim was released by police after they consulted with the local District Attorney. It doesn't look like charges will be filed against him.

Update - Before any bleeding hearts or Yurps here start moaning about "overreaction," and "unneccessary gun violence," you should read the local news:
1. This was the THIRD violent attack by these same teens in less than an hour and a half
2. The teens were specifically targeting elderly and white people
3. Julias Johnson, the deceased, had ALREADY been visited by probation officers that day, who fitted him with an ankle bracelet because he refused to abide by the terms of his probation or go to school
4. The intended victim wasn't just "knocked off his bike," he was attacked, knocked down, kicked in the face and then backed into a fence while the three thugs screamed and beat him.
There was no way the man knew if he was going to survive. He was acting in proper self defense.
