Newt's not the only Republican with a wild and crazy take on conservative "family values," it appears.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida — A regional director for Sen. Marco Rubio has been placed on administrative leave after his arrest on battery charges, accused by his wife of rolling her up in a carpet and punching and kicking her, according to the arrest report.
Rubio spokesman Alex Conant told The Associated Press on Monday that Michael Brennan, the regional director for southwest Florida, has been put on administrative leave pending an internal investigation by the lawmaker's office.
Deputies showed up at Michael and Kelly Brennan's apartment Friday after she called 911 during an argument and then hung up. Kelly Brennan's elbow was swollen with spots of dried blood, and she was visibly upset, according to the arrest report.
Kelly Brennan said in the report that her husband pushed her, and she fell on top of a carpet in the garage. She claims he rolled her up in the carpet "as if I was dead or something," and kicked and punched the carpet with her inside, according to the report.
Kelly Brennan said she unrolled herself from the carpet and confronted her husband. That's when he allegedly pushed her against the wall and she hurt her elbow, according to deputies. Lee County deputies said they found blood on the wall consistent with her story.
The couple, who have been married for seven years, fought while their children were sleeping, authorities reported. Kelly Brennan refused medical treatment and later told authorities she did not want to press charges, according to the report.
Authorities found Michael Brennan at a nearby hotel and said he was arrested on a charge of domestic violence battery. A Lee County jail official said Brennan was released Saturday on $1,000 bond. He gave a statement to authorities, but it was redacted in the arrest report.
Michael Brennan's attorney, Michelle Hill, said the allegations are false and that Michael Brennan and another unnamed witness contradicted the narrative contained in the police report.

You know what ten thousand battered women have in common?
THEY JUST DON'T LISTEN!

You call that domestic violence, real domestic violence is when you lean all the way back to Mississippi and unload a knuckle sandwich that makes her teeth rattle.

That pretty much sums it up. Liberalism is a disease that is rotting society from the inside out. Liberals have no morals or values and therefore can not be called hypocritical when it comes to moral values because they simple have none. Giving them free reign to behave however they wish and get away with it. Like the Folsom Street Fair in SF, or the World Naked Bike Ride in SF, or anything that liberals do in SF. Conservatives on the other hand support morality and stress certain values for the benefit of the family unit and society as a whole. However conservatives are human too and like all humans, are imperfect. So when they try to achieve their much higher standards and fail, they are therefore labeled hypocrites. Left wing moral gymnastics explained. | re: Sen. Rubio's staffer rolled wife in carpet, kicked her, arrest report says (karma: 2)
