22-year-old French corporal climbs up three floors to rescue elderly lady.
When a 90-year-old lady was trapped by a fire in an apartment building in Colmar, it looked as if she was certain to perish.
Enter Corporal Dimitri Higelin, of the 1st Company, 152nd Régiment d’Infanterie. Seeing her predicament, he climbed bare-handed up to her 3rd-floor balcony and kept her from jumping. A truck with a workman's ladder was commandeered by police and used to rescue building occupants.
The lady was unharmed, but Cpl. Higelin suffered minor burns to his legs.

He apparently hasn't lived long enough to absorb the lessons of cowardice from his elders.

I see,
gay French soldier surely preferred to rescue an old lady rather than a young sexy chick
he didn't feel threatened...
it's only natural
