The co=founder of GreenPeace seperated from Paul Watson because Watson is an extremist making a fabulous living under the guise of a non-profit organization, funded and supplied by gullible volunteers.
Out sticking giants actually had to back down a few times so I wouldn't hit the stupid motherfuckers. |

Hydro-electric power? Its been around a while, see link and date's. Thou there are not enough places to FIND that can be used.
Always remember; almost EVERY river has potential hydro power; it is just that people like you are unable to think of concepts that work.
SOLAR power is nice for keeping the battery's on my boat charged.
That fine if you dont want set of spare batteries (w/p ballast)and a spare electric drive motor. Esp if you have an engine problem mid sea when some shit goes off..
Tidal power? Seriously?
I said wave power; you converted that to tidal power. Do you see the problem some people have?
Wind power?
Even that would work on a static boat. MUCH MORE EFFICIENT THAN SOLAR to charge a battery.
P.S.
Wind power can replace all your house electric needs (if you have a garden) if you put a couple of small wind turbines in it.
Remember;
IF you work 8 hours a day outside the house, you hardly use any electric.
If you sleep 8 hours a night you hardly use any electric.
If you have two wind turbines and back-up recharging batteries (as Japanese companies sell for houses now) you can get electric 24 hours a day; and if you back that up with solar power on a properly built home; you will never need to pay anyone else for energy EVER. Not even for your electric car.
But if you prefer a cave and beer and pizza and pay the man for his fuel and his tax; thats fine too.
Solar is ok; wind is better. Geo is exceptional in the right places/with the right design.
so what do we do when there is no wind for weeks at a time?
how many batteries do we need to gap the time when the wind isn't blowing?
1. No wind; must mean fine sunny weather. So use the solar and underground cooling.
2. While the earth is turning, the wind is always blowing; you just cant see it most of the time.
3. Are you anywhere near a river? Or bobbing waves?
P.S.
Whales are neat; I still turn my nose up at the whale steaks on sale at the local supermarkets here. |

Dad was flight engineer on a PBY in the Caribbean during WW2.
They dropped depth charges on whales in case they were German subs. |

I have no problem with a glutton depleting species as long as he eats them.

You've got to be joking.

By command order shark fishing from a PBY became forbidden.
Dad never said if it was him that shot off the wing float with the 50 cal. |
