I work at a 4-year university, but I have a Masters rather than a PhD - so I counsel, mentor, and manage students & special events. Actually, the university here is pretty conservative.
don't listen BGA. It's a leftist. |

OldCujo:
Nancy, You should have given him a better pair of boots!
Me:
I gave him those deliberately because two of my little grandsons (ages 2 and 3) have the same boots.
OldCujo, check the boots!

You don't open or eat any of the food until the incense is burned, until the incense is burned, it is an offering to the dead.
BTW NT, your salute at present is the 30th highest K'd post ever on FF so far.

Why in the hell would you offer food to the dead? They're dead. Next you'll be worshipping cows. |

I celebrate Chinese New Year as a family, not a religious, holiday. The kids all enjoy the red envelopes, moon cakes, and Chinese food. |

Tex, you are the most normal looking person to ever post a salute on FF. For that you must die. Slowly, painfully, and you must die TWICE. Three times if we can pull it off.... |

I've nearly died four times already (auto accident, snakebite, near drowning, and Gulf War). I don't think you can improve on any of those, sorry. |

Sounds like you're a bit like a cat, NT. I wish you good health, luck, prosperity and many more years -- so try to stay out of harm's way if you can, Texan. |
