The Adbrite ad was causing hung browsers and slowing down the perceived site performance (which isn't that great to begin with), so I've removed it for now. We may add it back at the bottom of the page where it wouldn't interfere so much with the browsing experience...

My recommendation is that you do what you need to do to keep FF running. I didn't mind the tame ads or the minor slow-down that they caused. Then again, if the ads were only earning you a pittance, perhaps they aren't worth it..
