You haven't been keeping up with current trends in the USA. Media outlets are failing, or in decline. They need to make money to survive here, you know. The government does not give them subsidizes. Whole newspaper chains like Knight-Ridder are being shopped for buyers. Reason is there are so many new electronic outlets for news. A new sort of Gutenberg revolution has taken place.

We've also taken a few classes in statistics and full well realize that a toss off generalization like '90% propaganda' is nothing but propaganda itself.

me, im not frence (i dont think) i am an american, i live in mexico. i am a full blown gringo.i try to seek out posts that are anti mexican. i like to argue. i am usually right.
my knowledge of france extends to the fact the fries are good with lots of salt and mustard.
as far as the news. its all lies, changing countries to view their news is only viewing other peoples lies. you want the news, go out in the street and investigate it yourself.

Don't forget, our media outlets are not owned by the government. Our outlets also have not proclaimed self censorship like those in fwance. In addition, you will not get thrown in jail here in the states for denouncing the actions of arab minorities or for wearing a cross to school. Many of the fwench posters on this site would be sued for the statements they have made here. I hope the fwench government is not successful in thier plans for gaining control of internet content. If they are, you guys will be in some serious trouble.
